Gothic architecture in Valencia
We could not start this guide without mentioning the Gothic architecture of Valencia, one of the most predominant styles in our city. The Gothic influence can be found in various buildings and monuments in the historic center such as the Lonja de la Seda, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
In the Gothic Valencia also highlights the Cathedral of Valencia and the Torre del Miguelete, the bell tower of the Cathedral, where the views of the city are spectacular. You can not miss it!
We continue inside the historic center of the city, among the narrow streets of the Barrio del Carmen we can find the emblematic Torres de Quart and Torres de Serranos, the last remains of the old wall through which the city was accessed.
Lastly, of the many bridges that cross the old Turia riverbed, the Puente de la Trinidad and the Puente de los Serranos maintain a Gothic style, worthy of admiration.
