New programme for Japan Weekend Valencia 2024

On Saturday 4th, and Sunday 5th May, Valencia Fair will host cosplayers wearing costumes and accessories inspired by their favourite anime characters, films, video games or Japanese books. What are the prices for the event?

Those interested in attending the Japanese Weekend can purchase day tickets via the official website or at the event’s box office. Prices vary depending on the type of ticket you choose. General admission is 14 euros per day. Once inside, you can enter and leave the venue as many times as you like, as long as you keep your ticket. To access the venue, simply show the ticket on your mobile phone or print it out and or take it with you.

On the other hand, there is the option of taking the Anti-crisis entry every day. The cost, including administration fees, is 19 euros and includes either a manga or an anime film in the event, depending on your choice. Whichever option you choose, you will need to choose the time you wish to enter the event.

How to get to Feria Valencia: Japan Weekend 2024

The event will be held at Feria Valencia, a venue that hosts a wide range of trade fairs, exhibitions and events. Getting there is not a problem. It is located a few kilometres from the city centre and is well connected to the city's transport network. These are the options for getting to Feria de Valencia and enjoying Japan Weekend without any complications:

  • By car: Feria Valencia has 7,000 parking spaces available, 4,000 inside the fairgrounds and 3,000 outside. The rate is €0.03/minute or €15.30 for a full day with prepayment.
  • Tram: If the fastest and most comfortable way to get to Feria Valencia is by tram, take line 4 from the city centre to the main entrance. This line only runs on festive days for certain events.
  • Metro: Check the official Valencia Metro website for timetables and news between stations. You must take Line 2 Llíria-Torrent Avinguda and get off at Carolines/Fira (about 600m from the venue). 

 

Finally, if you are arriving in Valencia by train or plane, here are the options for getting to the venue:

  • Arriving from the Joaquín Sorolla or Valencia Nord train stations. Both are located a few kilometres from Feria Valencia and a few minutes from our accommodation. There are taxi ranks and metro stations: Xátiva stop with lines 3 and 5 or the Bailén stop with line 5.
  • Getting to Valencia by plane. The airport is 7.4 km from Feria Valencia, where Japan Weekend 2024 is located, so you can take a taxi or metro lines 3 and 5.
