Valencia is about to open one of the most innovative and versatile venues in Spain: Roig Arena. This multifunctional stadium, backed by Valencian entrepreneur and Mercadona president Juan Roig, will officially open its doors on 6 September 2025 with a very special tribute to local music legend Nino Bravo.

What is Roig Arena and where did the idea come from?

Roig Arena is a next-generation indoor stadium built to accommodate a wide range of events, from sports to live music and business gatherings.

With a concert capacity of up to 20,000 and 15,600 seats for basketball games, it will become the new home of Valencia Basket and a meeting point for music lovers, sports fans and event-goers from across the region.

This is a private and family-led project with a clear mission: to boost not only sporting development in the Comunitat Valenciana, but also its cultural and social scene.

Upcoming events at Roig Arena

What really sets Roig Arena apart is its stellar event line-up.

A packed calendar of events and concerts has already been confirmed, bringing some of the biggest names in music to Valencia:

  • 6 September – Grand opening with Bravo, Nino, a tribute to Nino Bravo featuring performances by David Bisbal, Pablo López, Malú and Rosario.

  • 12 September – Camilo in concert.

  • 20 September – Manuel Carrasco with his Tour Salvaje.

  • 21 September – Sebastián Yatra’s Entre tanta gente summer tour.

  • 2 October – Quevedo presents his Buenas Noches Tour.

  • 9, 11 & 13 October – Joaquín Sabina returns with his Hola y Adiós farewell tour.

And there’s more: the LOS40 Music Awards will be held here on 7 November. First time this prestigious event takes place outside Madrid.
