Valencia is about to open one of the most innovative and versatile venues in Spain: Roig Arena. This multifunctional stadium, backed by Valencian entrepreneur and Mercadona president Juan Roig, will officially open its doors on 6 September 2025 with a very special tribute to local music legend Nino Bravo.

What is Roig Arena and where did the idea come from?

Roig Arena is a next-generation indoor stadium built to accommodate a wide range of events, from sports to live music and business gatherings.

With a concert capacity of up to 20,000 and 15,600 seats for basketball games, it will become the new home of Valencia Basket and a meeting point for music lovers, sports fans and event-goers from across the region.

This is a private and family-led project with a clear mission: to boost not only sporting development in the Comunitat Valenciana, but also its cultural and social scene.

A packed calendar of events and concerts has already been confirmed, bringing some of the biggest names in music to Valencia:

  • 1 November. Raphaelísimo Tour 2025.

  • 7 November. Roig Arena will host the LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2025, marking the first time it has been held outside Madrid.

  • 15 November. Roxette in Concert.

  • 22 November. Mónica Naranjo in concert with her ‘Greatest Hits Tour’.

  • 22 November. The Psychedelic Furs.

  • 24 January. Fito & Fitipaldis return to the stage with their ‘Aullidos Tour’.
