Mercader Valencia combines hospitality and leisure and comes to life after a project of restoration and adaptation of the old space of the Soler Cooperage. This impressive restoration has turned an authentic industrial architectural jewel of the early twentieth century into a trendy place to go for tapas, have a cold "El Águila" beer, or enjoy a typical Valencian "esmorzaret".
The people in charge of creating this new gastronomic space are the owners of Grupo Mercabanyal, Jose Miralles and Hugo Sánchez Cerverón. Their goal is to combine the creation of gastronomic experiences and leisure in a modern space and restore historic buildings that were in disuse. As we have already mentioned, Mercader is located in one of the areas with the most beautiful architecture in Valencia, and not only is it an architectural landmark, but it has also become a gastronomic paradise that you won't want to miss. El taller: Bakery & Meat Workshop
El Taller is the first space where we will be able to find in the coming days a specialty coffee stand by Rutins Coffee Corner. The perfect place to recharge your batteries and taste the best freshly baked American rolls.
Here you will also find the meat workshop by Jenkin's. If you love gourmet burgers, this spot is a must. With an award for the best hamburger in Spain in 2022, Jenkin's offers select cuts of meat such as Galician blonde, Portuguese cachenas, and German Friesian. It is the only space in the gastro market with table service and reservations.
The Cuisine Market: Gastronomic Diversity
